If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please submit a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within ten days of the shipment of the product. If the item is returned unopened and in the original box, we will exchange it or offer you a refund. There is a 25% restocking fee on all returned items. A return will be issued to you based on your original payment method minus any shipping cost and restocking fees.
The product must be returned within ten business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation, and registrations that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee and the 25% restocking fee (totaling 40%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.
Please note that we do not permit the return of the following products :
- Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.*
- Products sold “as is” or “used” or that have been installed or used after receipt.
- Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics, and night vision equipment.
- It is our policy not to accept returns on body armor. Once armor has been ordered and shipped, it is no longer under our care and is considered the customer’s property.

*This applies to most soft armor and armor carrier products. For example, if a product is tailored according to your measurements, it is considered a custom item.
Alterations will be provided on concealable armor orders for a period not to exceed 30 days past the date you are notified of shipment. If you are ordering custom-fitted armor, please ensure proper fit upon receipt, and if alterations are needed, contact customer service immediately.
We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and either insure your package for safe return or declare the total value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to use a carrier that offers to track and insure or declare the total value of the product, you would be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.
ROE Tactical will send you a return shipping label with your RMA Number. If you use our shipping label, the actual cost of that shipping will be deducted from your refund.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities, and there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.
Due to the nature of body armor production, all items are cut and sewn to order or manufactured upon request. A cancellation request must be made within 24 hours of the receipt of your order. If the request is received after that, you will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Custom fitted items CAN NOT be canceled.
Armor Express Returns & Alterations Policy
UPDATED RETURNS AND ALTERATION POLICY: Effective 1/1/2022
As of Jan. 1, 2022, Armor Express offers a 30-day custom fit guarantee and will alter or exchange concealable body armor free of charge if the armor is returned within 30 days of the original ship date from Armor Express.
For concealable body armor that is too large requiring an Alteration, please note:
- Bravo armor may be trimmed 1” in length and 1” on each side (for a total of 2” in width) on each panel.
- Armor Express does not alter tactical or overt carrier products, nor will it accept any returns of any custom products or unique agency-specific spec carriers. Once orders for these items have been sent to production, they cannot be returned or exchanged.
For concealable body armor that is too small, the order must be re-made and is considered an Exchange.
Armor Express will incur the shipping cost of the returned items; the end-user is responsible for the outgoing shipping expense unless the return resulted from an internal AE error.
Alterations and Exchanges will be completed upon receipt of the returned vest as long as complete alteration/resizing instructions and any payment information, if required, are received (Purchase Order or Credit Card).
Armor Express will alter body armor after 30 days from the original ship date for a $50 per panel fee for concealable body armor.
If the return is due to customer error, the customer will be charged the $50 per panel Alteration fee; for an Exchange order that results in a complete re-make of the order, the entire charge will be charged to the customer.
