Operators simply match their carrier size (e.g., Large-Regular Raven X) to the corresponding UBI insert listed. For example, Large XPANDO cummerbunds require the Large UBI panel for seamless integration. Additionally, the chart accounts for both Taktic Buckle and Tube configurations. How to Size Your Cummerbund &UBI/USI Inserts in 3 Steps
Check your current carrier label or use the Enhanced Alpha Sizing chart. Example: Raven X Large-Regular = “LG-R”, Hard Core FE 2415/2415 = custom 24 width.
• Alpha-sized carriers (XS, SM, LG, etc.) → cummerbund size matches carrier size exactly (LG carrier = Large cummerbund).
• Custom-sized carriers (2315/2515, etc.) → add front + back width ÷ 2 → answer = cummerbund size (example: 23 + 25 = 48 ÷ 2 = 24 = X-Large).
• LightHawk XT 3.0 / XT 3.0 QR → upgrade cummerbund is always one size larger than marked carrier size (Medium LXT 3.0 = Large cummerbund).
The UBI & USI insert size is identical to the cummerbund upgrade size
(Large cummerbund = Large UBI 5.5″ × 12.0″).
Hard Core FE uses Medium UBI across Medium–2XL carriers.
