The MBAV Ballistic Standard

Unlike standard duty carriers, the Raven 2.0 is purpose-built to house MBAV-shaped ballistic panels. The MBAV (Modular Body Armor Vest) cut provides an increased protective footprint, particularly across the upper torso and shoulders, compared to traditional concealable shapes.

• Note: This carrier is NOT compatible with Bravo Cut panels. It is designed exclusively for MBAV-spec soft armor.

Integrated Thermal Management (AEVent & brrr®)

Heat fatigue is the enemy of focus. The Raven 2.0 features the patented AEVent system powered by brrr® Triple Chill Effect technology. This advanced textile actively reduces skin temperature through continuous wicking and rapid drying, ensuring tactical teams remain cool and focused during extended deployments.+1

In tactical situations, seconds matter. The Raven 2.0 is equipped with FirstSpear Tubes™ on the cummerbund, allowing for silent, lightning-fast donning and doffing. This system eliminates the loud “rip” of traditional hook-and-loop fasteners and ensures your fit remains consistent every time you put the vest on.

Sizing & MBAV Fit Guide

The Raven 2.0 utilizes a Simplified Alpha Sizing system. Because the MBAV shape is standardized, sizing is based on your shirt size and chest measurement rather than custom dimensions.

• XS – SM Carriers: Accept 8″ x 10″ plates.
• MD – 4XL Carriers: Accept 10″ x 12″ (or SAPI Medium/Large) plates.

Technical Note: This product is a tactical carrier shell. It requires MBAV-cut soft armor panels to provide ballistic protection. Bravo-cut panels from concealable vests will not fit this system.
